1. "It Doesn't Pay to be an Early Childhood Teacher"
Lately, I've had the privilege of spending eight hours a day with the astoundingly talented teachers of the Program for Young Children (teaching ages 3-5) at Columbus School for Girls. The work they do is as exhausting as it is rewarding, so the information in this article is disappointing to say the least. Definitely an important read for any elementary teacher. 2. Me Before You
It seems like everyone is speed reading this book before they go to see the movie and that is exactly what I did. Let me tell you, this book and the author's specific voice are worth the hype. It's the perfect quick read summer book without being too frivolous and chick lit. I'm seeing the movie this week and I cannot wait!
3. Lilly Presents!
There is nothing like a Lilly sale at summer, and nothing that motivates me to purchase like FREE PRESENTS WITH YOUR ORDER. In other big Lilly news their much loved print, You Gotta Regatta, is finally back and I'm thinking the towel just might need to come with me on my honeymoon (more on that later). Sharing a resource that has been an absolute lifesaver in wedding planning. Being a bride-to-be is full of mailing letters, invitations, save the dates, and thank you notes. Thankfully, as I was compiling addresses for my save the dates, I got organized with Postable. The sites allows you to create an online address book for free, and later, to electronically mail cards via the site. Having everyone's information in one place has made my wedding life infinitely easier and I have been sending all my miscellaneous cards (birthdays, get wells, etc.) through the site in the mean time! You type the message electronically, choose the card they will print it on, the person from your address book to send it to, and they take care of the rest. No stamp buying or envelope licking required. I'm obsessed. Click below to visit!
